Oakridge Soccer Club Code of Conduct

-Failure to follow any of the rules below will result in whatever the OSC Board deems a fit punishment ranging from suspension from the next game up to a 1-year ban from all OSC activities.

  • All players and coaches must be dressed appropriately at any OSC practice or game. This includes Shirts, Shorts, Shin-guards, Socks, and Cleats. Clothing with profanity or inappropriate comments or images is not acceptable. When practicing or at home games please be sure to also abide by our school’s dress code.
  • Bullying on or off the field at an OSC event will not be tolerated amongst anyone involved with the OSC. This includes parents, players, and coaches.
  • If you feel your child is being treated unfairly and you feel you cannot speak with the coach about the issue, please file a written statement to the OSC board.
  • Under no circumstances is a parent allowed to curse, yell, threaten or reprimand a coach, player, or ref at any time.
  • OSC coaches and board members are all parents who volunteer their time to teach your kids and make sure they are able to play the game. As such they should always be treated with respect and in a civil manner.

Refund Policy: OSC will refund a registration, as stated on our Registration Forms, when the following exists:

1. The player cannot compete due to a medical condition - supported by a Dr. Note

2. The player becomes injured before the season starts and will not return before the end of the season

3. The player's age group is eliminated by the League - GLCSL.

The last instance happens in very rare occasions, typically at the U17 level. In that instance players' parents are offered the option of "playing up" at the U20 level, or a refund of their registration.
